These days I have no idea why we are fighting this war. I know Australia is there simply there because the American's are. So it's more about keeping a good political relationship with the American's.

I agree with chasing the bad guys that are responsible for 9/11. I can't remember the last time this war had anything to do with 9/11. Bin Laden hasn't been found. Of course finding Bin Laden I think would mean America would have to then justify its occupation in these countries after finding him, which I think they want to stay long term.

The Iraq war. What a mess, but I think now that we have destabilised the country we got to fix it. You can't just up and leave and let the filth take over.
