The Iraq war. What a mess, but I think now that we have destabilized the country we got to fix it. You can't just up and leave and let the filth take over.

I agree with that, but it's hard to see what the US is doing to actually "fix" he problems. I mean does anyone know exactly what they are doing there now?

As for Afghanistan I heard the Taliban stoned a couple caught for adultery recently in the north of the country so it seems the Taliban are back to running a few areas here and there.
