well its not to far from bluebell hill, another fooken dodgy hill, its all pretty bad round that way, caus its all one massive valley (the m20 snakes through it)

that hill by brands hatch (m20) is so steep and goes on for so long that when I go down it in my car I actually turn my engine off,and it still maintains the speed of 70 mph for the full duration of the hill [rofl]

in fact it picks up speed, dodgy I know, but I only do it to save fuel and when theres no others around.
That's still a VERY stupid thing to do, you lose your power steering and would rapidly loose your brake vacuum and if you needed either you wouldn't have time to start the engine. Plus, if it's an automatic, you're looking at damaging that unless it's also got a rear pump, which is unusual.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Bungle, was he on a bike, m/bike or a car?
