I've just finished an 18 month, 1 day a week course, just need to complete my final exam to get my final certificates.

I'm a bit of a network head so I enjoyed the course, very interesting stuff, learning about subnetting/routing being the main focus of the course.

Don't know a realistic timescale with self study and no other commitments, but theres my 2p [thumbup]

When you say a basic knowledge of networking I assume you mean how to plug a router into a computer and wire a basic LAN? there's some very intensive maths involved in the course base-10 and hex/binary conversion... I'm not good with maths but there are good methods to work this stuff out. If you decide to go for it, just PM if you need any help with anything
