The answer is WRONG

Although you can´t make heroin out of it, it does have recreational uses.
I´ve drank Goldmohn (German name) tee and although it doesn´t hit you like opium, it does have it´s sedative values (same go´s for smoking it which produces a minor cannabis type of buzz).
Just wanted to point that straight.

btw Wiki also has something to say

I don't buy it, I'll test the theory and tell you for sure.
