The closest encounter I've had with Tritium was in the night sights of the assault rifle issued for me. We were very close for a long time. Not as dangerous as for the dude at the receiving end of the sights.

yeah but if you had dropped that sight and it smashed and you breathed the gas that's in there you would have been ****ed !

on a personal note I would rather be shot than inhale tritium gas !
