yeah but if you had dropped that sight and it smashed and you breathed the gas that's in there you would have been ****ed !

on a personal note I would rather be shot than inhale tritium gas !

You inhale tritium gas every day. It's also in food and water. I doubt there is enough in the gun sights to even be dangerous if your body took in all of it, which would be very difficult to do.
