And then consider it was all written and recorded buy one guy, in his house, using cheap gear, for his first album. (we're talking, building his own cabinet for his guitar speakers)

I'd call that good music.

Definitely not bad at all. He has a very " A Perfect Circle" sound to him. It still sounds a bit amateurish at times, but there's a lot of promise there.
