A lot of people, including myself, feel that way upon their first viewing. I think a lot of the time, people are expecting another Star Wars or Indiana Jones action movie and are kind of disappointed. Then you usually get the urge to watch through it again and find you enjoy it more, and then you can't stop watching it over and over as you pick up on all the subtlety. It has now become one of my favourite films of all time, and i even changed my Gamertag last year to reflect this. [yes]
Well I wasn't expecting Star Wars, or Indiana Jones, but the first time I saw it, [cough] when it was released, it didn't really do much for me. I enjoyed it, but I didn't walk away thinking it was the best movie I had ever seen.

Now years later, several viewings and re releases... It is like you said, one of my all time favorite films.[yes]
