While I love lightsaber fights, the way everything in the prequels ends in a lightsaber duel that tops the last one is really boring.
I mean where are the classic blaster shootouts from 4,5,6... the epic battles that dont require a jedi to be present. We have a few shots here and there of soldiers shooting at random things but none of it matters, its just filler for getting us back to the Jedi. We never see the real war, we dont see any memorable space battles other than whats at the very beginning of 3, we only see a few scenes here and there of the so called war.
Should have called it Star Wars Origins: Vader

And then we have the dialogue... holy crap on a cracker


Padme: I will not let you give up your future for me.
Anakin: You're asking me to be rational. That is something that I know I cannot do. Believe me, I wish I could just wish away my feelings, but I can't.

Padme: We used to come here for school retreat. We would swim to that island every day. I love the water. We used to lie out on the sand and let the sun dry us and try to guess the names of the birds singing.
Anakin: I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.


I mean that stuff is impossible for a good actor to pull off let alone the twits they had.
