Knowing Leo Laporte from previous shows/books and other such things I would have to agree with him that he isn't one to be influenced by getting a review product for free.

Oh I agree 100%. What I think Mike (the other guy) was getting at (and should have made more clear) is that Palm has a history of only sending review copies to those who are known, or in some cases agree to review the product favorably. I used to love Palm (owned 600, 650, 700p, and 755) but they're not exactly a stand up company IMO.

I think that's what Mike was getting at and Leo overreacted. There wasn't any reason to throw the other guys off the show, or drop the language he did. I'm not offended or anything, but I think it was a little out of character for him.

I mean, I like Leo, but he's dropped a notch in my book (not as far as that ******* Scott Borune, but he's a different story.
