Having read through the questions on the site it seems it does convert RGB to component (although I would double check this before purchase just to make sure). If what you're connecting to your Sky to your AV switcher now is composite then it will improve the picture (assuming it converts RGB).

the Av switcher doesn't do converting basically its a very handy Component output switcher/router.

the Scart converter will do the job of converting and then its literally straight to the telly via component interconnect.

if ive done me sums right of course

its only 25 quid tho
