I doubt the motherboard can cope with 4gig sticks. Changing the ram will not change the frequency the motherboard accesses them, so they will be set the 667 even if you put 800mhz ram in them.

i can get as an option from factory 2x4GB DDR2 800, so im guessing it can take both the speed and density
