Well... you certainly need to learn about giving proper credit to material which isn't yours.. but if it's the first assignment... I think taking it to the dean is a little extreme... he should have just explained & let you correct it or worry about it next time.
well it made em learn the importance of citation hasn't it right out of the stocks [thumbup]

sometimes the "fear" of punishment is enough to make people think twice and I bet they will remember that for the rest of their careers, cos if they don't they will land their companies in a lot of copyright infringement suits.

I bet this was done intentionally,and its all a setup and part of the course where they wait for you to fook up on day one.


they did this sort of thing during my "basic training" they wait for you to fook up on day one then get you in front of the boss then he shites all over you, and you never make that same mistake again.

could be wrong but you'll all be reet in the end
