Ha! True enough; can't argue with that.

I just worry it scared some of the less experienced (it's a 3rd year course, but can be taken by anyone in any year of CS) away from what is a very interesting, and useful, topic.

perhaps that's another way of seeing if students are serious enough and can cut it.

you guys didn't go in with a " heh were awesome and this is a piece of piss" attitude did you ?

cos it may be a strip you down a couple of pegs exercise[rofl]
