Why would you need to work out where your apartment was? They don't move, just spin.
There's a central column that doesn't spin.
Surely if the central column remains static (ie doesn't spin), then if the rooms/floor rotates around it - your entrance to your apartment moves also.

Let's say your apartment is represented by the red circle.


Beginning of the week it's there.



End of the week it is in that position.


If the lift/stairwell exit in the central column remains static, then your apartment is going to be in a different position.

Of course I am assuming that your apartment isn't the whole floor.


I can see the novelty wearing off after a while.
Nice to look at from the outside... but not all that practical.

Maybe I'm being too harsh or cynical!
