Could it be that the manufacturer knows what's needed better than some kook on the internet? [rofl]

I would always agree with that statement....except that the manuf is under pressure to meet EPA requirements and is all but forced to use 5W20 oil. Now that doesn't mean it is bad, but what the engineers who designed the engine would say is ideal, and what has to come from corporate may be different...
