Why loan the government that much money? Unless that is you don't make enough money to actually pay taxes and that's all refund money from the get go, anyway, are you including your "economic stimulus" money? $300 or $600 or something come May/June.

Anyway, I got my $16 back a week or two ago, it was awesome.
I am working to change my exemptions for 2008 so I can keep my money instead of getting my money back. I got a raise in 2007. And no, I am NOT including in this thread the $300 rebate we are supposed to be getting. So that means I'll be getting more back. $1,200 federal + $xyz California state + $300 rebate. I could have bought an iPhone by now. I did, however, contribute a lot more to my 403(b) contributions for 2007. According to the H&R TaxCut software, I saved $1,000-$1,500 by contributing. Not sure what it means, though.
