Default hohoho just remembered somthing
that happened to me in a comet store not to far from here I was looking at the plasma and LCD hdtv's and a sales dude walked upto me and started laying it on thick, and you know what the little prick said to me when I asked him about Pixel mapping and 1080p.

"All Modern HD lcd tvs can be firmware upgraded to display native 1080p and pixel mapping"

so what he was telling me, if my brain understood it correctly that flashing a hdtv with a firmware update not only fixes bugs ect but it also physically increases the Pixels on tv's

so I said this to him

so uprading the Firmware adds extra pixels to the screen then ?

that to my mechanical mind its like fitting spark plugs to a diesil

he said "yup" after a few seconds pause.

I say "thanks mate Ill be on my way now"

I dont know much about hd tv's but its an impossability right ?
