A terrible shame to be sure, but that article seems really dodgy. It says at the start that she died two hours after the electricity being cut. On the next paragraph it says that the guy came to turn the power off 6 days previously. I'm pretty sure the facts are being changed there to make it a bigger scandal than it probably is.

Also, if you don't pay your power bill, you get the power cut off. Why is that the electric company's fault? You'd think if your life depended on a stable supply you'd want to make sure that was paid, or at least get a battery backup or generator.

Meh.
