Ah sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but the computer this program needs to be used on only has one hard drive. This program says to have a safe clean drive with this program installed to search the other drive....is there a way I can run the program from CD or Jumpdrive and have it search the drive without any problems?

Nope,
You need a second drive to store the restored data onto, otherwise you´d be re-righting over the lost data,..
Anyways you can save data to the drive your trying to recover.
