So, somehow you (Futuremark) need to get the word out via some different channels, i.e not through the 3DMark credits but perhaps by running some magazine adverts or other independant internet based advertising.

Once there is a strong userbase at "YouGamers" perhaps 6 months ~ 1 year, then and only then could you perhaps consider slowly migrating the "Futuremark" forum into a 3DMark / PCMark / Benchmarking based forum with no gaming sections. That is, of course, one possibility but as Langy has pointed out, it's really too early to make any permanent decisions.

If users are banned here (FM) would such a ban carry across to YG? No, unless that user immediately started causing the same problems over at YG. People often develop bizarre personality differences when they use different discussion boards!
