I wanted a 306 dturbo first. but changed my mind after speaking to a few mechanics and was generally put of the dirty old diesel idea

but ive decided on the 206, 306 are heavier, and no doubt a 306 1.4 would be sluggish? also, this 206 1.4 is cheaper to insure

and it looks nicer

The engines in 206s arnt quite as powerful, i wldnt really recommend a 1.4 either way, diesels all the way or a 1.6 would have much more power enough to find that your fuel efficiency is better due to the fact you arnt dropping gears as much to speed up, also a 1.6 is virtually the same in insurance terms.

hmm i really really like 306s they are just gorgeous, far nicer looking than virtually all hatchbacks on the road.
