Alot of people complain about no Khushu n Khudhu in Salah. Here is an easy way to get it. If you do it inshaAllah you will develop concentration towards Allah quickly.

1) Muraqabah - 5 mins before salah sit and close your eyes. Turn your attention towards your heart and make it do Allah Allah. Increase the time when u get used to it.
2) In salah, imagine that theres nothing in the whole universe except you and Allah.

And its done. If you loose concentration in salah towards other things then bring it back towards Allah again. If thoughts come, let them pass. Don't even think about them. Don't even think of removing them.

Hope this helps.

السلام عليكم

Masha Allah, knowledgeable brothers have offered many beautiful points to increase concentration in Salah.

If I may add - I am summarizing what I heard in a bayan of Haji Shakeel Ahmed (DB).

  • Do Wudhu with complete devotion well prior to the Adhan (if not with the Adhan atleast) reminding yourself that you are going to meet the Most Honoured Allah (SWT)
  • Starting with your first step towards Masjid keep reminding yourself that Allah (SWT) is watching you (with love) and you are never even for a fraction of a second out of his sight and reminding more that you are nearing His presence as you advance to the Masjid (stop any Adhkar on the way for sometimes until you get used to the feeling that Allah is watching over you).

  • Once inside the Masjid, after praying two rakah of greetings (if it's not Makruh time) sit quietly again paying attention to the fact that Allah (SWT) is watching you and complete all your Salah (Fard in Jamaat and Sunnah after it, if any) in that state of mind.

Very soon one will have the Khusu in Salah albeit with constant practice.

Please bear in mind that those are not exact words of the Shaikh, but what I could remember. May Allah forgive my shortcoming.
