People forget many Ulema of earlier times dealt with the issues of their times, so contextual analysis is severely lacking. Really you should know about the history and conditions and groups around at the time a ruling is made, BEFORE you comment on a particular ruling by anyone.

It would be interesting to know what is permissible to post (if posting is just an extension of speech) ?
