Just a thought really.

You have said that you are looking into Islam and its sects, historie(s), cultures and beliefs. Surely then shouldnt you be focusing your attention toowards the sunnah, and especially of the Ahlul Sunnah (sunnis).
Im not trying to knock you here, but its no good having a minority agenda, when all the deep rooted positive culture that has shaped the world over the last century all started from mainsteam Sunni Islam...

And also how do you expect the Shia to answer your question, as they will find anything offensive, even the slightest thing, especially concerning documentaries etc...
