Salaam Sidi Jazak Allah khair for your naseeha and encouraging words! InshaAllah I will try to revise on a regular basis and write them whenever possible from memory. In addition, will start some basic sharh on these inshaAllah. One amazing thing I noticed is that the 40 ahadith essentially capture the essence of tazkiyah/tasawwuf. And Alhamdulillah, I am finding this supremely beneficial. E.g. Whenever an evil thought about a fellow muslim comes to my mind, my memory reminds me of "It is evil enough for a man to hold his brother muslim in contempt" [35] Whenever an urge commit a sin comes to my head, my memory reminds me of "Fear Allah wherever you are" [18] Whenever kushoo in salah is slipping, I am reminded of "It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you" [2] Whenever my tongue's about to say something evil, I am reminded of "Let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day either speak good or keep silent" [15] And there are so many more examples! SubhanAllahi wa bihamdih! I really encourage everyone on this forum to memorise these blessed 40 (42 to be precise) ahadith. It's probably the best thing you can do after memorising the words of Allah Himself. Forget wasting hours and hours debating and discussing about "X scholar said this", "Y scholar is a mubtadi'" etc.
