what does that "everything" mean??

Unlimited knowledge?

Could be that everything means everything, but it is at least a tremendously huge amount. Ulama have said that these hadith took place nearer to the end of the life of Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa salim. BUT, this was given by Allah, and the knowledge of Allah is totally unlike the knowledge of anyone. laisa ka mithlihi shai.
