Random Deep Questions
Despite attempts at constant remembrance of Allah in the heart, an alternative force appears to have more power, which leads one to disobedience and laziness. I presume this is the nafs. How does the negative influence overpower the remembrance of Allah in the heart and how can one reverse the situation?
Secondly, what is the remedy to the recurring despondency one feels because of lack of spiritual progress?
Third, if one is not a scholar, how does one decipher what course of action to take in our daily life, especially when there may be no explicit fiqhi ruling on the matter?
How can one begin to FEEL Allah in their heart and thereby feel contentment at all times?
How does one distinguish between the promptings of the nafs and the promptings of Allah and the angel appointed to each and every one of us?
