Alliance with one mubtadi over other mubtadi is not required. I dont think the sahabas would have allied with khawarij over shia. And I don't see how Wahhabi dominion through rebelling against ottomon somehow secured it from Shias. Instead Sunnis as a whole lost power. The harshness of wahhabism might have kept shiasm to lay low, but they have gotten more aggressive and staunch and united based on treatment of najdis. The ayatollahs are taking advantage and getting all minor groups into their frame of influence. The Egyption la madhhabism given refuge in Saudi has resulted in incoherent opinion and chaos while the anti tasawuf ways have resulted in loss of spirituality to the religion and made it mechanised worship, all indirectly favouring the enemys including the kaffirs. I would simply say that we deal with all through bounds of the shariah and not based on end justifying the means. The latter method has resulted in all bidahs groups emerging whereby they all have some kind of excuses to not abide by shariah method intackling false creed or other enemy's. Its time the najdis go back to authentic hanbalism and allow all Sunni schools to openly preach. The huge oil money is being wasted in promoting mubtadi creed.

There is a Yemeni government in place with some sort of sunnis having power. We should use power through them. If the zaydis attempt a rebellion, they would be easily crushed as the Saudis are ready to bring their guns. Wahabis jnstead have a habit of going and provoking people with their rabble rousing opinions and holier than thou attitude. This wahabi madrasah which is at the center of attention for zaydis would be no different. Hence such a reaction would be expected. They would be the worst in getting Zaydis to become Sunnis. They are instead arousing and driving them towards the ayatollahs. More civilized and knowledgeable people should be sent as preachers and migrant communities to Zaydi zones. There is the principle in forbidding evil that the action to forbid should not result in more evil.
