The more people there are for a job the less you will need to pay them because there will always be someone who is willing to work for less.

I think people are waking up to the fact that universities are nothing more than 'knowledge-for-rent', the mystique that has traditonally shrouded going to university is in it's final stages which is why everyone is being milked to the hilt. Now when the money is running dry they are asking parents to dip into their pension pots. All of this spells bad. Of course those from the poorest families don't have to pay anything if they even make it that far. Those with ambition and drive in this world will always succeed in whatever endeavor they do because of circumstances and mentality. Those without will always struggle.

Right now it's probably best to work and study at the sametime if one can. This way you get the experience you need when you finish and you're getting paid for it. Not every student needs to go university. This is the advice that needs to be given to them.

The only problem with all of the above is that India & China are producing soo many graduates that how will future US based workforce compete?
