Salam aleikum brothers and sisters

I have decided to keep my beard growing to keep with the requirements of Islam.

I was wondering if brothers have advices on how to do it. I already have a 3 weeks beard and alhamduliallah the beard is thick and generous.

However, i was wondering if :

- i have to and may defined a neck line? is it above or below the adam apple?
- do you comb up or down? when i comb it up the beard seems bigger
- do u use olive oil on ur beard?

any other advices?
