That statement is partly true. Muslims can perform the rituals of Islam peacefully in most places of India but prejudices and hatred exist. I don't know about how things are in Pak so can't compare between the two.

In Pakistan you have all the freedom in the world about Shariat. You can do everything. The problem is Law and Order situation. Daily around 30-35 people are being killed in Karachi alone!
