Can anyone post the Shafi'i opinion too.

as Salamu alaikum,

Under the discussion of supererogatory prayers, Habib Hasan al-Kaf mentions the following;

"6. Salat al-Layl: namely al-tahajjud. Tahajjud is the prayer(performed) after 'isha and after one has slept." al-Taqrirat al-Sadidah, pg.287
