I hate the State of the Union address. Way too much standing and clapping, then sitting, then standing, then clapping, then sitting halfway, only to be interrupted by standing and clapping again. A ten minute speech is drawn out into nearly 64 hours of empty rhetoric, strange ramblings and doomed promises. Plus, add on to the fact that Bush never says anything new, but just kind of repeats the same things in every single speech and you've got quite an uninspiring event, in my opinion.

I'll read it from the web. It's way quicker and I like making a George Bush voice in my head as I read it.
