Why should we impeach Bush, if Cheney is in line for the throne?

Good point. I shall call it the 'Quayle anti-impeachment' strategy, originally developed by Bush Senior.

Clinton followed up with Gore, Gore nominated Leiberman and Bush2 has Cheney. All perfect examples, though I think Gore's nomination of Leiberman was protection against his own party lynching him.
