But my point is that these are all MAJOR issues that need to be looked into! The American people are forgetting about these things when they should matter. His government, in a matter of MONTHS, not only took away the giant surplus Clinton left behind but he put us into an even GREATER decifict. And what for? He lied. They found no Weapons of Mass Destruction. I don't understand what you don't get about it. It's actually VERY simple.

With the wiretapping; that IS 100% factual. He has openly ADMITTED that he broke the law to illegally listen in on Americans. I dont know about you, but I like my liberties and freedoms. My issue is not so much that he did but; but that he did it ILLEGALLY. NOBODY, and I repeat NOBODY, is above the law. Not even the President of the United States.

They're so irresponsible it's pathetic. 9 BILLION dollars just dissappeared. You SHOULD care, because it's your money too. It's ALL our money. And let's face it; they're pretty much stealing it/misusing it.
Since you are going to keep misstating things, Ill just continue. You are new, so you may not have heard these facts yet.

-Clinton left us a giant surplus

Not quite correct, clinton neither owned the "giant" surplus, nor was it giant. The surplus in 2000 was 200billion, and as you well know Congress designs the final budgets and the republican congress were the ones to present a balanced budget in the contract with america. The reduction to deficits did not take place in a matter of months, but over a year, just after 911, corporate scandals, and the dotcombust. FY01 recorded a 128billion dollar surplus

-he admitted his wiretapping was illegal

well, we all know the president had never said anything of the sort, and in fact he has mainted that everything he has done is illegal. In addition, the attorney general and the Congressional Research service has detailed the legal backing of the program, which includes the FISA court itself recognizing the presidents inherent authority to conduct warrantless searchs. In any case, the president has not been charged or convicted of anything, so illegality is not possible yet. If you believe in liberty, then you should also beleive in "innocent until proven guilty"
