thanks for your kind help, it will help but did not fulfilled my requirements, i'm trying to collect as much information as possible on Angels. I've searched internet to have a complete guide about angel according to Quran and hadith. Many may get annoyed by my attempt as they might say why i'm looking for so much detail as it is just a matter of faith. But i felt it is impotent to know what Quran and Hadith exactly said about angels. I did find some name of Angels in Quran. Like Gebrail and Mikhail, But i did not find the name of other tow. I also did not find what is their job exactly. Quran generally speaks about many angels, but did not mentioned name. Like the ayah above did not speak about any particular angel rather it seems several angels have this responsibility.

Believing in angel is one of the pillar of faith. We did not have seen angels, we believe our prophet (PBUH) have seen angel. Now days, some people are making absurd claim about angels and some other people thinks we are nuts. So, we should have a complete guideline on the faith of angels in our own terms.

So, if somebody is interested, pleas enrich this thread on the following matter from Quran and sunnah.

1. What is angel?

ans: Angel are kind of creation By Almighty Allah. They are made of light and they have wings (please write some source on that)

2. Are angel male or female?

Previously, people believed they are female. But Quran speaks that we don't know about their gender, how do we know it? we did not witness their creation. (please write some source on that)

3. What their Job?

Follow the commandments of Allah (SWT) (add some more jobs if you know) (please write some source on that)

4. Four Great angel among them, name and their jobs. (please write some source on that)

5. Who can see them and who have seen them in history? (i.e prophets)

6. Do they have shape? and physical appearance?

7. Do they die?

Most of all, What is Islamic teachings on believing angels?

Hope i can find some help on this matter. You can add information from Ahle kitab if their information dose not conflict with Quran and Sunnah.
