I'm a registered Republican and usually vote along party lines but only after studying the platforms of the candidates. If I believe a Democratic candidate will do a better job, that's who I vote for. Unfortunately, the last time I voted for a Democrat, I got stung because Gov. Blanco has been absolutely horrible!

Louisiana voters seem to get stung across the board and for a long time. I mean, pervert crook Edwards v. KKK crook Duke--what a choice--just beat your hand with a hammer picking between those two at the polls.

It seems some decent choices are appearing now on each side for once (example--Mitch Landrieu of the Dems seems ok, as well as David Vitter for the Reps, etc)
