Party loyalty?

How about loyalty to the nation? Or loyalty to her husband? Both of those seem more reasonable and probable than mere politics from a human perspective. Standing by her man was good for the nation and I do find it hard to fault a woman for 'standing by her man' (through good times and bad, in sickness and in health...).
I was referring to the accusations about Clinton's hidden motivations to bomb Iraq in '98. You know, because he supposedly wanted to divert attention away from his sex scandals at the time. I never bought it and saw those accusations as stemming from party loyalty, much like some accusations being thrown around today towards Bush . I'm not into mud slinging, which is why I didn't get into Clinton's marital problems.
