Mashed Potatoes then or some healthy boiled vegetables with a pinch of Salt and a pinch of ground black pepper (no butter or margerine)

Sudoku got the idea of what I was trying to sayAlhamdulillah. I can assure you that home made food as a gift to our Shaykh and their family is a good gesture.
Alhamdulillah, I have on occasions given my sheikh Chocolates, Tofeefee, Churwa/murku . I know my sheikh would love to have Tim Horton's French Vanilla coffee granules. And carbonated drinks are one of his favourite.

In fact one day one of his student gave him 2 tomatoes and a packet of mushroom, and he said this is one of the best way of giving gift. i.e what you buy for yourself, just share some with him too

Every one is different. judge your sheikh's mizaaj and give him what will lighten up his heart.
