Well, first of all, we can't remain isolationist because if we just pull beind our own borders, we will leave a vaccum in world affairs. And that vaccum will be filled by another power as soon as it will be able to do so. That was how WW2 came about. If we pull out of the world scene, then Europe, China, Japan, India, Islam or maybe even a revitalized Russia would try to fill that vaccum.

Also, the problems this world has now transcend national borders. Issues such as population, ecological destruction, terrorism, genocide, drug trafficking, human trafficking, nuclear war to name a few cross national borders. How can we isolate ourselves from ecological destruction? If a nation on the other side of the globe contaminates the ecosphere, it will affect us.

Finally, America has been blessed with 25% of the world's GDP and also has one of the highests per capita incomes of the world. America grows enough food to feed 25% of the human race. America has the most powerful military in the entire world. I believe America has been blessed with the wealth and power the USA has to build a better world for all people on Earth. We are in a position to build the world of our dreams.

I believe the USA should expand their borders to emcompass the entire world and become the United States of Terra. I believe this world should be united under the government of the US Constitution, a guided capitalist economy, the tounge of the English language, the flag of the stars and stripes, and the cross of Jesus Christ.
