I don't think this is a good solution to illegal immigration anyway. The same threat exists for fraudulent IDs, and fake credentials to get legitimate IDs. This is just an internal passport. You won't be able to use ANY government service, facility, etc without it. That means no flying, no driving, no bank account, you can't even get a library card without it. And even if it was an ok solution for illegal immigration, it isn't worth the trespass it creates on civil liberties. The dangers of this are limit-less, and the guy writing these bills has already shown his true colors, especially with wanting to repeal the 22nd amendment. He wants a dictator-controlled police state, with his greedy little ass sitting on the throne. The deception is shown with the "trojan-horse" slipping of the bill... And please don't toss me any blanket "liberal" cheap-shots, because for the most part i'm not aligned with them at all. I just think that the liberties this country was founded on are getting torn to shreds by scared people, wanting this illusion of security. What happened to the free and the brave? You can have freedom, or you can have security. You can't have it all. There is no such thing as total securitry. And if you want to get close to it, you are saying goodbye to freedom, and saying hello to 1984, brave new world, nazi germany. "Paper's Please." This is it, the shit has hit the fan. Terrorists are getting what they friggin wanted. Disrupting our way of life.

"Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security, will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." - Thomas Jefferson
