If you feel comparing an American family to a family in Africa is the same thing then your dead wrong. The US does not need people living in the streets begging for food as you will eventually be paying for them on the backend when their in prison.

WOW! You really think that living on the street, begging for food is a guaranteed trip to prison? Quite a nasty generalization. Once again, no one HAS to be there.

Last time you read anything about welfare was 10 years ago then because it's 5 years maximum lifetime per recepient since 1996.
