Hello, O huge fan of US politics. You'll probably live to regret it.

Regarding Bobby Kennedy. While it happened 40 years ago, it was an open dynasty in the making. Bobby being appointed US Attorney General was the same as if George Bush appointed his brother Jeb to be Attorney General today. The Kennedys thought they were the equivalent of American Royalty. Any actions like that, if attempted today, would be met with howls that wouldn't quit.

Was it good or bad? Depends on your point of view. We can "What if" until the end of time and get nowhere.

My main problem with the Kennedys, is that they think they are above the average American, and that is not what America is supposed to be about. I think the downfall of the Kennedys was Teddy at Chappaquiddick. He got away with murder, or at least manslaughter, and the country has never forgiven him of that. He has tainted the Kennedy name.

As far as Bobby goes, I think his overly-righteous chasing of organized crime may have been what led to his and his brother executions. The pragmatic solution would have been to take small steps, but the Kennedy ego dictated that he move boldly and openly, therefore guaranteeing his demise.

Ask away. I rarely have no opinion on a subject.
I agree with that 100% righteous asshole he is.
