This is a silly thread topic. Tookie and Sheehan have nothing to do with each other. I didn't realize that public assembly and protest were "far left tactics." I thought that this was a fairly common democratic action, one that the right engages in (over abortion and homosexuality often). However, I don't suspect that the biased OP will make the link between all these groups, just try to isolate the ones he doesn't agree with them and then call them "miserably ineffective" and somehow the link the topics of international war and capital punishment .

I just wonder why, since he is so biased he continually tries to don the "independent" cloak. chassisman, since you are a partisan Republican, just say so. No need for the false appearances.

Yes, this is kind of a silly topic, but you must acknowledge that both Sheehan and Tookie's protesters seem to have failed miserably.
Why do the people opposed to the death penalty wait until the final weeks before they decide they have a cause? Are the too busy playing Mortal Kombat the rest of the year?
Shhehan won't ever be effective until she decides to operate in a fashion that unifies millions of people. She alienates millions more than she attracts.
