The "War On Terror"
What is this so called "war on terror?" Who are we fighting? We sit back and debate why and how we should fight this war, but what are we fighting? The answer is nothing. Were fighting a thought, an idea, an emotion. So what do our leaders do? We kill the bad guys, but if terroism is an idea how do we kill it? Do we just whipe out every person with a bad thought about us? Are we psycic? What about the sons and daughters of the terrorists we do kill? Oh my god... they come back more passionate because now this great problem solver has killed there mother or father. No this is obviosly not the answer. If we kill the bad guys there will only be more bad guys. We never fix a problem, we just create these quick fixes that fix it for a short time. It works for the time being, but the problem always comes back worse. So why is there terrorism? What creates terrorism? Well the answer is simple. Passion is the sole engine of terrorism. Whenever there is passion there is action and we create this passion. Our constant minipulation and backstabing have finally caught up with is. It was inevitable. We screw people over and of course they are going to be pissed about it. We have ignored the world and thought only of ourselves. For years we have thought we were doing what was in our best interest. Afterall who wants to do what isnt in there best interest? So where are we? We have thought of our selves as the problem solvers. We invest in countries to help them out. It is a good deed that we do. Or is it? Is it a good deed to aid a country and then wave this aid like a carrot above there head? Threatening to take it away if they dont do as we tell them and support our ideas. That my friends is minipulation. That is what creates this passionate hate that drives terrorism. Think of Osama Bin Laden, he is a man so passionate that he made others passionate. A leader that made others feel passionate enough to give up there own lives for the sake of the cause. I dont hate Osama Bin Laden for what he did on 9/11. I pity him. He is a person so driven with hateful passion that he had to do something to get back at us.
