This is not real news since the Democrats pander to the most unproductive segment of American society. The dregs, the losers, the whiners, the welfare sluts and the unemployables while at the same time punishing those who do work and especially going after businesses with their repressive and reprehensible taxes.
Democrats make big noises about spending when Republicans are in power but God help us all if they ever get back in the saddle because the Demos will break all records in raping the producers in order to reward the moochers.
I always question these "non-partisan" surveys. You might also look at the cost of a war that this Republican administration CHOSE to go into.

And you may want to consider the current spending. It seems to me that both parties hit us in the wallets pretty equally. My federal tax break was less than the increase in my local taxes. Go figure. I guess if the local governments aren’t getting it from the state and federal governments than they have to get it from me.

To me, it’s just who the slush fund goes to …those without or those with more than enough. I agree you can’t just give it to those who are without. But I definitely think that those on the other end of the spectrum have more than enough. Studies show large profits are seldom reinvested beyond the absolute minimum needed to be competitive.

My only question is: do you think the "unproductive segment of American society" is fixed or can we reduce it?
