This is just politics. When Clinton wanted action in Iraq in 1998, there were numerous Republicans voting against any action whatsoever. The same holds true now in poliitics. Take the information with tongue in cheek on both sides of the isle.

Well of course that is true to an extent but Democrats are known to be anti defense, preferring to spend the money on the indolent welfare class.
That part is true enough.
Now you have to look at the hysterics the Democrats are pulling regarding the war in Iraq and you realize they are complete hypocrites and phoneys. Here though it's serious because US troops are comitted to combat and they don't need a bunch of sniveling hypocrites stabbing them in the back at home.
So that is the difference.
