The biggest single problem with "pure" capitalism is that it's not sustainable. It implodes just as quickly and inevitably as "pure" communism does. The wealthiest capitalists form monopolies and kill all other competition.

Unfortunately, there has to be some hybrid of capitalism and socialism in any nation to keep its economy alive, let alone to grow it. The only question is what the "best" hybrid for "us the people" would look like.
